Continuing it’s North Texas development, Arkansas-based Slim Chickens is growing even more in the new year in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Development has been rapid for the two franchisee groups developing the region, but for franchisee Courtney Lindley, finding the right real estate is an important for expansion.
“Our goal is to open 15 restaurants in the next 5 years but if it takes a little longer to find the right sites we will be patient,” said Lindley, whose company is opening the Irving restaurant.
Currently, there are seven Slim Chickens in the DFW area, most of which opened in 2016. Two additional locations, in Irving and in Mansfield, are opening early this year.
